Battery connectors for your Bacchetta Pronto Recumbent

When ordering your Pronto recumbent directly from Bacchetta or from your local dealer, you will need to make a decision about your battery connector.

The battery connector is a plug located on the back of your Recurve or B3 seat that allows you to unplug the seat from the main frame to easily remove the seat.

There are definite pros and cons to this set up. Without the plug (the default set up), you have a very waterproof system. As you can see in the pictures, we run waterproof tubing up to each end of the plug, but the plug itself is only water resistant. Unfortunately, without the plug, it is more difficult to remove the seat from your Pronto for transporting the bike.

If you have us install the connector, you will be able to easily remove the seat as needed. However, we find most customers never need to take it off of their Pronto recumbent.

As usual, if you have any questions about your Pronto set up, please don't hesitate to give us a call or send and email/text. Safe riding!
