How I Ride: local roads and trails

Had my knees both replace about 10 years ago. My son bought me the Bellandare about 2 years ago for my birthday. Because the crank length of 70 mm was more than my left knee could handle, I literally spent time on the bike for the first year just trying to stretch the soft tissue so I could ride. Then bought a set of 55 mm cranks and installed them. Beautiful to ride, but my leg strength left a lot to be desired. Started changing that last April (2012), and have been riding lately. 5-10 miles at a time is good, for now. Love the seat, love the relation to the road/trail, love getting back out and enjoying central Florida on the roads and bike trails (we have a LOT of them in Florida!) Oh, yeah, I have received a LOT of very nice comments from people about the bike - it's really a bicycle chopper!!!
