Bacchetta is proud to welcome recumbent rider Rob DeCou. Rob is rather unique as he is not only a world-class cyclist (RAAM finisher on his Carbon Aero CA2!), he is also an ultra-distance swimmer and runner.
Rob is gearing up for a year-long cycling campaign that will culminate in October 2020 with Uberman, the “World’s Toughest Ultra Ironman”. He is thrilled to be riding his Bacchetta in this event and is helping spread his enthusiasm as much as possible, through blog posts, reviews, social media, speaking engagements and group rides in the Los Angeles area.
As a Rotarian, Rob is committed to using his ultra-endurance efforts to build community and give back. All proceeds raised from this year’s campaign with help prevent human trafficking.

Gina has been riding Bacchetta bicycles since 2011. As a disabled endurance cyclist and cancer survivor, she credits recumbent cycling for getting her life back together. Riding her Carbonaero, Gina has lost over 100 pounds and is a big fan of the personal health benefits of riding. According to Gina, Bacchetta bikes area a well-designed means to a happier/healthier life.
Gina rides in disability, military/first-responder, and cancer charity rides. She loves doing century or double century rides and also attends events like the recumbent/adaptive bike showcases. She is a big advocate of Bacchetta and talking about how they have given her back freedom, health, and life. Gina states “I enjoy explaining the sheer joy of riding”.
She is a participant and volunteer at Maine Adaptive Sports, an Ambassador for World TEAM Sports (Adaptive org), and participates in the Pan-Mass Challenge, a 200-mile cancer ride each year.
Dennis rides more than 4000 miles annually in solo, group/club, and charity rides. He also participates in rallies like Ragbrai and the Hotter ‘n Hell 100. Dennis loves getting asked about his new CarbonTrike CT2 and is often stopped to ask about his trike or receives car horns as affirming exclamations as he speeds down the road!
Dennis spends his time mentoring new riders and preaching the affirmations of riding and all the health benefits it brings. He often can be seen stopping to help out other riders with mechanical or fatigue issues and provides support to all in his club!
Thank you to our Ambassadors!
