Pelso Brevet
European
Recumbent Bike
MSRP: $4800
Bacchetta has a complement to its’ award-winning and legendary C/A 3.0! The Pelso Brevet is designed with a European S-Bend giving riders a 1 ½″ lower seat height over traditional dual 700c Bacchetta’s. The rectangular frame profile also provides great road dampening characteristics. The Pelso-Brevet provides a great option to the C/A 3.0 for performance riders wanting a more forgiving seat height and a slightly lower profile.

I LOVE THIS BIKE!
Knoxville
What I Like: Balance, ride smoothness, responsiveness, speed, stable at low and high speeds, and it's beautiful
What I Dislike: Some helicopter tape could protect the frame from the front derailleur from marking the frame.
How I Ride: Road riding
I purchased the Pelso Brevet from Bacchetta earlier this year. I am LOVING this bike and I enjoyed working with the folks at Bacchetta. It rides very smoothly and has excellent balance. I have posted a longer, more detailed review at Bent Rider Online (http://www.bentrideronline.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=145368). If you like road riding, this bike is great. Very responsive and comfortable.

Best recumbent ever!
Hungary
What I Like: Frame, Double J bar, 1x11 set
What I Dislike: nothing
I have had a Pelso Brevet since march of 2018. Before brevet I had a Performer Goblet high racer.
My first impression was that I felt brevet much lighter. I could start and accelerate easilier.
The Double J bar is a fantastic development. The bent is well controlled, even is your speed is low. You can adjust a lot of things on the bar. That’s why it was a lot of time to fit it perfectly. But after one week trial, the bike was very comfortable. Now I usually use a 24 degrees seat angle. It is very comfortable. When I participated a 70.3 triathlon race, I used 20 degrees seat angle. It is a bit faster, but not so comfortable. I can reach 36 km/h average speed in the 90 km long bike route. I wouldn’t use less seat angle, only on absolutely flat routes.
Brevet is very light (less than 10 kgs) that’s why It is very fast in uphill. I can ride together with my road racers friends.
I use the 1×11 sram eagle set (chainring with 50 teeth, casette: 11-46) and I love it! It’s very easy to use, fast and accurate.
To put it in a nutshell, I absolutely satisfied with the Pelso Brevet!
