Rohloff Aileron Rear Wheel Upgrade Kit

Are you ready to upgrade your drivetrain to the reliable and durable Rohloff Speedhub? Get 14 evenly spaced gears that cover the same range as traditional derailleur-driven drivetrain, but without all of the constant adjustments. Rohloff sets the standard for internally-geared drivetrains.

Our wheels are build in-house using the Velocity USA Aileron rim, this wheel is ideal for performance or touring tires from 25-35mm wide. Black Sapim Race double-butted spokes with silver brass nipples are strong, light and durable.

Our kit includes the OEM2 mounting plate and Monkey Bone disk brake adapter which allows this wheel be to easily mounted to any frame with rear IS disk brake mounts. The chain tensioner replaces the rear derailleur and keeps the chain taut when no other method of chain tensioning is available. 

Shifter and external gear box are included.

A Rohloff 160mm rotor is included, but will not be mounted to prevent damage in shipping.

Our wheel is designed specifically for 135mm rear axle spacing and quick release attachment.
