First shots of the Bacchetta Quattro

The Bacchetta Quattro has been in development for quite some time, but the project is now coming to fruition! These are the first spy shots of the frame as it is coming out of the molds/jigs. 

These first Bacchetta Quattro frames go through destructive cyclical testing. Once they have passed, a second set is test-fit to ensure everything fits perfectly.

As you can see, the frame is built in two halves and joined under where the seat will sit. This ensures that maximum strength is just in front of the seat, which is the area that will take the most load.

Because the shape is similar to earlier iterations of the Carbon Aero and the layup pattern is exactly the same, we know that the Bacchetta Quattro recumbent will have the same ride characteristics as its predecessor.
