When developing the award-winning design of the Scorpion fs 20 foldable touring trike, HP Velotechnik’s engineers used the latest chassis technology from the automotive sector to provide the most comfortable full suspension for your ride. But they did not compromise by simply using retro-fit solutions on existing frames:
The whole vehicle was developed from scratch to incorporate an impressively sensitive full suspension in a sleek and lean design delivering superior performance. The wishbone axle geometry and HP Velotechnik’s unique Stabilizer System, with its anti-roll bar integrated into the frame design allow full use of the ample suspension travel. It is finely tuned to perfectly respond to the forces of the road. The low seat and far higher pedal position highlight the agile sporty character of the full suspension recumbent trike for adults.
You can feel the benefits of this masterpiece of the finest German trike engineering immediately when cutting your first corner: enjoy a perfect synthesis of outstanding road-holding and a maximum of “Fahrvergnügen.”
The Scorpion fs 20 full suspension recumbent trike received the Eurobike Award for groundbreaking design and above-average product quality. The jury of “iF International Design Forum,” comprised of design experts, specialist journalists and sports scientists, rated amongst others: efficiency, ergonomics, practical value, weight, safety, environmental impact aspects, and finish.
For convenient transport, you can easily fold your Scorpion fs 20 within 60 seconds into a package of 44” x 33” x 25” length x height x width (with installed rear rack). After the easy removal of the front fenders and front wheels, the package reduces to only 44″ x 29″ x 18″; without the rear rack, the length is almost less than 36″. For easy carrying around, your Scorpion fs 20 is fixated in its folded position by a frame-side-mounted adjustable snap-in device that safely secures the folded frame.

We charge a flat rate of $369 for shipping via freight in most of the Continental US. We do not ship outside of the US. There are few zip codes in the US that are more expensive - we will reach out to discuss if this is an issue. It’s usually the very rural locations.
Your Scorpion FS 20 comes 100% fully assembled. We require that all shipped HP Velotechniks be ordered with a boom adjust kit so you can easily adjust the boom to the proper length, adjust the seat and handlebars to your liking and go for a ride! You can order the adjustment kit with all of the tools necessary to set the proper boom length and then return the kit for a full refund once the trike is set up. Or have us install a kit so that others can ride your trike too.
If you order additional parts with the bike, our website may charge you additional shipping. When we receive the order, we will refund that amount.
The current lead time from HP Velotechnik is 6-8 weeks. It takes time to build your perfect bike.
A final note about ordering bikes on our website: We will always call you after you place your order to discuss your build, make sure all of the options are correct and ensure that it is the right bike for you. If we need to make changes, additions or cancellations, we will happily do that - we want to make sure you are happy with your new bike. We will NEVER just ship out a bike without a conversation.
